I was born in 1992 when political crisis and civil unrest happened in the country. It was the time where the problem of anti-national, demonstration, resurgence and government's control took place. But fortunately i don't know anything about it since i was just born. Only greatest trouble in the country i remember was in 2003 when anti-Indian citizens tried to settle in Bhutan to build up their numbers and strength, Indian government demanded them to be evicted from our land or they will declare war from their side which would have post great threats on our land and people. Choice-less was our government, so we had to declare war on 15th December when the day was auspicious and astrologically precise for the war to start off. Within the two days the war got over. ULFA, BODO, KLO, etc. are not resurgent or rebellion of Bhutan but they are rebellion of India. They oppose and revolt against India government because in most of their areas where they live, development was just a dream for them and central government of India didn't give any attention and Northeast earn region of India is still the most undeveloped states in India. So that is how people started forming into groups as a rebel against the government. I need not go into mach detail. We were safe mainly our guardian deities and tripple gem helped us in blessing our prayers offered by people of the whole country who were in great tense when our fourth majesty went to war as a leader/commander (of course he is commander constitutionally).

Then came the day of peace in 2005 whereby 4th Majesty announced firstly in Yangtse Dzongkhag that he will step aside to give place for his young son in order for him to get experience. He did that because he himself had experiences having suffered since his young age when his father passed away. In 2008 coronation took place and our present Present king came to the throne and it was great day for we Bhutanese to see both father and son existing together in monarchical system. In 2010 royal wedding took place and tears rolled when i saw joyous and beautiful occasion taking place. Very remarkable thing happened in 2008 was we got democracy in our Country. No matter, how fraudulent it is, it still is the best form of government preferred by most of the countries in the world. It is the most valuable and gracious we the people of Bhutan could get. So exercise your rights of democracy which gives you many rights, freedom, liberties and responsibilities. But i don't mean such human values didn't exit before that but from 2008 such rights became more solidified and concrete where every affected citizen can use it as a legal tool for battle. First democratic govt. was elected in 2008 and lasted till 2013 and presently we have PDP as a govt. after defeating former govt. (DPT) in second round of election in 2013. We hope our history of country will be smooth and nice one. Let's all contribute to the service of the nation by leaving aside our personal desires and goals for the sake of people of Bhutan. I look forward to Bhutan growing from strength to strength. I want sun of peace shine forever in the country. My judgment is one sided and i avoided another side for the great good of greatest number of people of Bhutan.
But it's quite disappointing to see in social media that many youths (specially) and civil servants are commenting and criticizing so much on the incumbent government. I am not unhappy because people blame only present government but i was shocked on analyzing that it has become sort of attitude of people to blame on government. They even blamed previous government. From right, left and centre, they try to pull government's leg in every best possible way. I do not deny the existence of legitimacy of criticism in democratic form of government and people have every right to it. But rather i was shock to see, no positive comment is being made. Whatever new agenda or plans are proposed or works are done by government, they directly go into negative comments. And when someone tries to correct that they are wrong, they jump to the conclusion that whoever tries to correct them from blaming excessively is supporter of present government. Once i also commented them to criticism based on legitimacy. Their criticism seem to be very rebuking. I am sometimes reminded of what former education minister (Thakur Singh Powdell) said, "there is nothing good in Bhutan, if something exist in Bhutan, then it is bad things and badmouthing about others." It seems very true but there would still be some who try to thank from their inner heart yet keep unexpressed. It's saddening to hear what Former Prime Minister Jigme Y. Thinley said during panel with party's after President after presidential debate, "There was never an instance (or instances) where i went home from my office without worry, tension and sense of concern for people. And when we see people blaming on what we do, we feel really bad and sad to go home." We never seem to understand that. Of course there would be some MPs who would be different person and deserve blame. We are all fallible. To elect right person is our own rights and privileges. And i constantly remind them not to blame what they do and when they do not fulfill desire of people, because it's just starting year and there are still 4 years to go. So many things can happen within four years. If only little things happen or nothing is worth as promised, then we can use our right to throw them out in next election. In democracy people are active and have rights only during election and that rights should not be misused to oneself in a position to blame on what one has voted earlier.
On the contrary i m happy to see, people are becoming more aware of the new system of government and in time to come, they will know even more and will be able to help government in governing well and correctly.
