VIEWS ON NATIONAL DAY
111 is such a long years to count that it needs almost 2 lives or generations to experience. It is indeed pride, honour and joy for us, Bhutanese to celebrate this joyous occassion of 17th December, 2018 commemorating 111th years of establishment of monarchy and the nation. It was on that day hardwork, ability and karmic seed have come together in agreement to yield a fruit so sweet and beautiful after laboroious causes and effort on the part of contributors especially by ancestors of Wangchuk dynasty. It gives immense pleasure to see our His Majesty to celebrate among people on the national day and it is going to be at Samtse this year. It too felt on auspicious 10th day of lunar calender, day that highlights on the significance of Guru, Rinpoche. I have always liked to watch it live yet this time I can't watch at home, Tsirang since we have no cable connections. Yet I shall enjoy it with my family through radio facilities and social websites. All of us, people enjoy diamond craffted words of His Majesty on the day making poor soul and intellect of ours little rich. With immense joy, contentment and eagerness to witness such an important day, like a small flower that never fails to turn into an offering to tripple gem, a simple and ordinary person like myself would also like to extend my prayers, hopes and wishes for me and all subjects of nation to obtain opportunity to experience days such as this for our lifetime and times infinite and eternal to come, uninterruted and continuous. Let tripple gem bless the world in general and Bhuan in particular. As a reminder I urge all people of the country to collect all the ten fingers on the heart and pray "Long live our monarchs and Pelden drukpa" with each pounding lubs and dubs.
