Resilience

Good morning to you all, Respected Principle, Vice principle, TOD, teachers and all my dear brothers and sister. Today I Sonam Tenzin of 8 ‘C’ would like to deliver a speech on the topic Resilience. Since it is one of the good qualities essential in life I beg all of you to listen to it attentively.
Resilience is a quality or property of things to be back to its original state after it is distracted. Resilience does not apply only to the things but it can also be applied to human being. Why? Because life of human is never free of sufferings, problems, change and pain. After being born, nobody is immune from the suffering. All of us have to suffer one day or the other. Some of you may be suffering currently and some of you might have suffered already. Whatever it is, we must not submit to the sufferings in life.
Life is not going to be easy. When we pursue our goal or dream there is going to be lots of challenges and obstacles on the way. It is possible that we may fail sometimes or we may not get what we expect. But that is going to be okay or we should accept it. We should not be affected by our failure continuously as if like our life has come to an end. There is every hope after failure as saying goes, “There is light at the end of the tunnel”. If you keep working hard with dedication surely one day you will achieve your dream. But remember there is going to be lots of problems on the way. You should not be affected by the problems and start giving up. You should not lose hope. You should not drink, smoke or use drug when problem comes. Face the problem, cry out loud, let the tears come out and keep moving forward in life because life does not travel backward. It does not even stop. So we should get up from failure and problems of life and keep moving on. This is what resilience means. You should live your life to the full until you die and this life is meant for living till we die. Have resilience and you will turn stronger day by day.
So friends let us all inculcate the habit of having resilience. Shall we?
Thank you all for listening. THANK YOU.

SPEECH THAT I WROTE FOR CLASS 8 NEPHEW
