LEAVING THIMPHU

The poem written in 2017 when I had to leave back to college. I have had a privilege to attain "Mountain Echoes." No matter how idle, boring, harsh and difficult moments were, the departure never fail to overwhelm our tender and emotional heart. Thoughts of sadness crept inside my head in vehicle. Most journey and travel had a treat for my idle mind to evoke some poetic thoughts or retrospect on aspects of life and what not.

"Thimphu"? I am going my way back,
If only you can halt running time i stay,
If this earth and cosmos has period of end,
Why must I cry to leave?
What do I do with hope of sun shining each morning after set?
No, no do not cry for I am strong,
And you can do better without me or anybody else,
My future says work here in future,
Yet is it a place or an environment around that keeps you attached to place?
I shall have answer as wishes turn into reality.
I shall see you again, Thimphu.
